Open Question: Does the Lemon Law cover vehicles that were purchased “As-Is” with no warranty from a dealership?

If someone purchased a car from a dealership knowing that the car did not come with a warranty and the car broke down 350 miles away from home because of a faulty fuel pump the day after it was purchased, is the dealership responsible for the vehicle under the Lemon Law?
